Adelaide Transport Information

Adelaide is served by a well organized public bus and train transport system, & also a free bus service operates around an Adelaide city loop with bus stops in Victoria Square, King William Street, and North Terrace.

The suburban train station is located on North Terrace, and the interstate trains like The Ghan, arrive at the Keswick rail terminal which is 5 minutes from Adelaide by motor vehicle.

Country & Interstate buses arrive at the Franklin Street Bus Teminal in Adelaide.

Passenger Transport Information Centre has a main office on the corner of King William St and Currie St (timetables, tickets, and some tourist information).
Office Hours  8 am - 6pm Monday to Saturday.
Sunday 10.30 - 5.30 pm  Telephone(08) 8210 1000
A day ticket for Adelaide's public transport may be a good idea.
Adelaide also has an excellent well maintained taxi service.Taxi ranks are in King William Street, outside The Adelaide Sky City Casino and other prominent locations around the Adelaide city and also North Adelaide & Norwood.

free connector bus serviceThe Adelaide City Council provides a free Connector City Loop Bus service that runs 7 days a week except public holidays,and will take you around Adelaide and North Adelaide. There are stops in Tynte Street,Buxton Street and many popular locations around Adelaide. You can get to the Adelaide Zoo and other popular tourist attractions using the Adelaide Connector Bus Service.

There is a shuttle bus service from The Adelaide Airport that will bring you into Adelaide's CBD.
