The Chapel c.1865 This building was originally built as a school house for the children of the Destitute Asylum. It was not used as a chapel until 1871. There was only ever one wedding celebrated  here, and was of George and Elizabeth Bowman, performed on the 10th of July 1895. The building ceased to function as a chapel in 1917.
