Accommodation on Kangaroo Island
Accommodation on Kangaroo IslandI travel to Kangaroo Island during the year from Adelaide many times, working with the Tourism operators on Kangaroo Island. I usually photograph an updated Tourism accommodation property, or maintain computers I have sold on Kangaroo Island.
I am very happy to give my personal recommendation for accommodation on Kangaroo Island to Acacia Apartments at Kingscote.
Your host there is Deidre Morrison, and the apartments are modern & very well fitted out 4 & 1/2 Star, first class accommodation for sure.

Scuzzi Cafe - O'Connell Street,North Adelaide
This is Robert Barbero's popular North Adelaide Cafe' which is located on the corner of O'Connell and Tynte streets.
At Scuzzi Cafe' meals ranging from light snacks like Bruschetta to good pizza, & there is always good interesting daily specials on the board.
The wine list is interesting and features well known South Australian wines as well as a good range from the Interstate wine regions.

When I dine at Scuzzi I often enjoy pizza which I can highly recommend, and the odd glass or two of award winning McLaren Vale Bent Creek wine.
Kangaroo is sometimes featured on the specials board and is highly recommended  Scuzzi Cafe Phone: (08) 8239 2233

Maxwell's Photography & Camera News
I've spent some time making some pages about my photography during the past 40 years. It's got some details about the 18 cameras I have owned & it's over on my company website here.
There are a few tips for using the newer Nikon digital SLR
cameras, and there is a little about my granny's camera, a Kodak No. 2 Brownie from 1919.
I have been for the past 9 months been using the excellent Nikon D300 Digital SLR for all of my photography work.
I purchased mine from Diamonds Camera Video & Digital in Adelaide and I am very happy with the service there. This is a fantastic camera. I also use the Nikon D200 as a back up.

The Festival Centre is located approximately 50 metres north of the corner of North Terrace and King William Street, lying near the banks of the scenic River Torrens and adjacent to Elder Park.

It is distinguished by its three silvery-white geometric dome roofs and its plaza, and lies on a 45 degree angle to the city's grid. It is the home of South Australia's performing arts.
